Using Neurofeedback to Help Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)

Written by: | Posted on: | Category:

In this episode, Jeff Gould explains what neurofeedback therapy is and how it can be used to "smooth the rough edges" of TBI. Drawing on his own personal experience with neurofeedback (both under the care of a provider and using an at home device from www.healthmath.com), Jeff discusses the powerful ways that controlled, coherent breathing - a key part of neural feedback - can be used to regulate the heart, increase heart rate variability (HRV), and achieve a higher level of coherence between the heart and the brain.

Jeff, a TBI survivor and thriver, works with clients suffering from TBI. He can be reached at jeff@laborofloveintervention.com
